Clean hostel, strong bleach smell. Photos unrealistic. Receptionist took ID photo with personal phone. Uncomfortable air mattress. No reception, waited 15 mins at kitchen table. Signed Spanish paper, no English version. Window blocked. Bed creaked. One shower for 18 guests. Comfortable beds.

the cleanliness of the hostel was good and they maintained it regularly. the staff, particularly Gerson and Crystal, were helpful and supportive. the location of the hostel in the historic center was charming, with easy access to museums, galleries, parks, and other attractions. It was also a great place to meet people from all over the world. Basic amenities like hot water, tap water, clean bed linen, and towels were provided. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like ☹️.

I recently stayed at a charming hostel for three nights in Madrid. The purpose of my trip was to attend a football match at the nearby stadium, and I'm pleased to say that the location of the hostel was perfect. The staff, Anna and Andrés, were incredibly kind and responsible, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. Despite the affordable price, the hostel had all the essentials I needed, including a cozy bed, clean towels, and functional shower and toilet facilities.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

When it comes to location, Hostal Casa 18 is conveniently situated near a metro station, making it easy to explore the city. the hostel has a spacious kitchen where guests can socialize and prepare meals. the rooms are clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay for longer-term business travelers.
It should be noted that the shower room is quite small, with limited space to put clothes or towels while showering.

The staff spoke English, Spanish, and even Chinese! So convenient, now I can practice my Mandarin while complaining about the tiny rooms and lack of windows.

The cleanliness of the hotel was lacking. The common areas, such as the kitchen and bathrooms, were quite messy and not well-maintained.
